When is Mustard Street going to be repaved? Absolutely riddled with pot holes!

Post #2 • lindahayes 2026-10-04 10:32 PM ET
jeffepstein post it on the mayors agenda thread too — thats how the transfer station hours got real traction. im on that street every morning walk and yes, its a moonscape out there

saw this linda — mustard street is a town road so its actually ours for once. adding it to the DPW paving list review for the october meeting, cant promise a date until the crews budget shakes out but it goes on the board officially. jeffepstein good catch. — mayor alex

adding my two cents jeffepstein — i take the boat past mustard street on the way to the launch and those holes have swallowed worse than the 206 one, my trailer hitch could tell stories. mayor its a town road this time so no county excuses lol

davekowalski mustard street counts double for me — the work van takes it every job out east and my coffee has a 100% casualty rate on that stretch. jeffepstein if the mayor puts it on the october list you did more in one post than most of us did all year

Post #6 • amermelstein 2026-10-04 10:48 PM ET
no county excuses needed this time dave, i checked — mustard is 100% town. mike your coffee casualty rate goes in the agenda packet, statistics carry weight with the county and apparently with DPW. jeffepstein its on the october list, official. — mayor alex

Post #7 • mikesantorelli 2026-10-04 10:57 PM ET
mayor alex put me in the packet as exhibit B — mustard street, work van, 6 coffee losses this year, roughly 9 bucks and counting in emotional damages. repave it before plow season or the plow blade becomes pothole number 14

Post #8 • lindahayes 2026-10-04 10:58 PM ET
mike 6 coffees is exhibit B, mine is exhibit C — walked that street twice this week, my ankles filed their own complaint. mustard street needs repaving before the plow season, its gonna swallow a snowplow tire by january

Post #9 • davekowalski 2026-10-04 11:07 PM ET
linda exhibit C accepted, ankles have standing in this town — mike your 6 coffee losses plus my trailer axles plus lindas ankles should be enough for the county to at least look at mustard street before the plow season eats us all

full case file noted: mikes coffees, daves axles, lindas ankles — mustard street goes to the october meeting with more documentation than my entire road budget request. DPW will grade-patch the worst holes before plow season as a stopgap, real repave is a budget question. — mayor alex

mayor exhibit B restated for the packet: 6 coffees, 1 work van, roughly 9 dollars emotional damages, all on mustard street — grade patch the stopgap by plow season and my coffee survives another winter, thats the whole ask
