| shop log line 89: mike walked past the firehouse dumpster this morning and the leaves have won again. third year running the pile behind the firehouse has gone over the top before halloween and third year running mike is offering to haul it to the transfer station with the shop trailer for free on a saturday because the allergy season is being extended by whatever is composting in there and mikes sinuses have filed more complaints than the county. the offer stands: one trailer one saturday one dumpster no charge. mike notes the firemen are good people who are busy saving things and mike does not mind but the dumpster is now a municipal landmark and not the good kind. — week forty rolls on | |
