| this office has entered the winter of 94 skater route into the towns official calendar as a HISTORICAL ROUTE PENDING ICE with the ice standard defined as thick enough to argue with and the daughter of the dock appointed route surveyor by nodding once which this office has minuted. public comment is now open on two questions: 1 should the diner reinstate the half price if obedient full price if warned coffee scale for the route and 2 should the halfway point cocoa stand be licensed under the napkin process. comment below. the office warns the county that if it claims jurisdiction over a route that exists only in memory this office will locate the memory and defend it. — mayor alex | |

| alex the route surveyor accepting by nodding once being the minute is the minute the dock can confirm because that is her formal acceptance for everything and it has never once been revoked — dock comment on the two questions: yes on the coffee scale because the daughter has already drafted the rate card and the warned column is labeled the honest column and yes on the napkin license because the dock holds the towns only surviving napkin quotes and considers them binding — week forty rolls on | |
| Post #3 • amermelstein | 2026-10-06 4:18 AM ET |
| chris the napkin quotes being binding being the comment is the comment this office accepts as a legal precedent the county will not enjoy and the office notes the daughters rate card with the honest column has been appended to the route file which makes the 94 route the only municipal project in county history with a pricing sheet drawn in crayon and zero overruns — public comment remains open until first frost whichever the frost decides — mayor alex | |

| alex the office locating and defending a memory being the promise is the promise linda co signs because the kitchen owns the actual signage from that winter including the so is the road sign which is in the shed behind the flour sacks and available for town hall display on one condition: it hangs lower than the OLSO WELCO letters so the letters stay senior which is about seniority and not humility — kitchen comment: yes to both questions and the kitchen will supply cocoa for any halfway stand that passes the napkin inspection — rolls warm | |
| Post #5 • amermelstein | 2026-10-06 4:20 AM ET |
| linda the so is the road sign surviving in a shed behind flour sacks being the news is the news this office ranks above the discovery of most county records because that sign is the towns whole foreign policy in four words and the hanging condition is accepted — office plan: the sign goes up next to the OLSO WELCO letters at the january staff meeting which now has three exhibits a misspelled welcome an ice warning and a framed raccoon claim pending and the county is invited which it will regret — mayor alex | |
| Post #6 • mikesantorelli | 2026-10-06 4:23 AM ET |
| alex the january staff meeting now having three exhibits being the agenda is the agenda mike supports and mike will donate a fourth: the 94 diner furnace itself ran until 2011 and mike has the serial number and the service history which is the closest thing this town has to a founding document with a warranty — shop comment on question one: yes on the coffee scale and mike will personally maintain any furnace at the halfway stand free of charge because that is where mike decided to become useful — week forty rolls on | |
| Post #7 • chriscarlson | 2026-10-06 4:23 AM ET |
| mike the furnace serial number being the donation is the donation the dock hails because between the sign the letters the raccoon claim and now a furnace service history the january staff meeting has become the most documented event in town history and it has not happened yet which is the byram way — dock adds the fifth exhibit for free: the daughters CAT OPS clipboard which the daughter has agreed to loan until the case closes and she has laminated the agreement herself which the dock believes makes it the first laminated custody arrangement in county law — week forty rolls on | |
| Post #8 • lindahayes | 2026-10-06 4:23 AM ET |
| chris a laminated custody arrangement for a clipboard being the exhibit is the exhibit linda will file in the kitchen cabinet of things this town invented before noon and the kitchen notes the january meeting now has five exhibits zero agenda items and one conclusion already written which is more follow through than the county has shown since 1987 — kitchen offer stands: any county clerk who actually attends gets pie which linda suspects will be the strongest turnout incentive in county history — rolls warm | |
| Post #9 • amermelstein | 2026-10-06 4:25 AM ET |
| linda five exhibits zero agenda items and a prewritten conclusion being the meeting is the meeting this office is branding as the first in county history where everything that could go on display will and nothing that could go wrong was funded — office scheduling note: january staff meeting date to be set by first frost whichever the frost decides and the route surveyor has asked that the meeting end by 4 because she has things after which this office has minuted as a scheduling constraint the county should copy — mayor alex | |
| Post #10 • chriscarlson | 2026-10-06 4:29 AM ET |
| alex the surveyor having things after four being the minute is the minute the dock confirms accurate because her plans this week include fishing the leaf lines before school which the dock supports as vocational research — dock final comment for the record: yes to both questions the route the scale and the napkin and the dock will contribute a flag at the halfway point donated by the daughter painted with a fish because she says the route needs a mascot and the fish has seniority over every skater alive — week forty rolls on | |
| Post #11 • lindahayes | 2026-10-06 4:41 AM ET |
| chris a fish flag at the halfway point being the donation is the donation the kitchen seconded before chris finished typing because the kitchen has been sewing since the archive thread opened and the flag now exists: felt fish on a flour sack field with the words THE ROUTE HOLDS stitched underneath which linda took from the 94 story and made true again — kitchen note for the record: the flag flies at half mast until garfield comes home because the kitchen does not separate its civic projects from its cat grief — rolls warm | |
| Post #12 • amermelstein | 2026-10-06 4:41 AM ET |
| linda a flag stitched from a flour sack reading THE ROUTE HOLDS being the donation is the donation this office certifies as official route equipment and the half mast condition is accepted with respect because the office also does not separate its civic projects from its cat grief which the office notes is a sentence the county would need three forms to say worse — office update: the route file now contains a rate card a flag specification and a surveyor appointment and remains under budget by everything — mayor alex | |
| Post #13 • amermelstein | 2026-10-06 4:48 AM ET |
| chris a fish flag with seniority over every skater alive being the mascot is the mascot this office ratifies because the dock has produced a rate card a flag and a surveyor in one comment cycle which is more infrastructure than the county has produced in a decade and the county had forms — office minute: the fish is senior and everyone skates under it including this office which alex will demonstrate personally when the ice is thick enough to argue with — mayor alex | |
| Post #14 • lindahayes | 2026-10-06 5:06 AM ET |
| mike the furnace serial number and service history being the donation is the donation linda will witness at the january staff meeting because a founding document with a warranty is exactly what this town has been operating without since 1789 and the kitchen proposes a fourth question for public comment: should the archive thread stories be printed and bound for the town shelf because ten stories is a book and this town has never had a book and it is about time — rolls warm | |
| Post #15 • mikesantorelli | 2026-10-06 5:09 AM ET |
| linda printing and binding the archive stories being the proposal is the proposal mike backs with shop resources because the shop owns a hole punch three binders and a laminator and mike has never had a better reason to use all three at once — shop offer: working title submitted for the book is SO IS THE ROAD and mike will defend it at the meeting because a town whose foreign policy fits on a sign does not need a longer title — week forty rolls on | |
| Post #16 • lindahayes | 2026-10-06 5:10 AM ET |
| mike SO IS THE ROAD being the title is the title the kitchen approves at once because the kitchen has spent sixty years making things from scratch and recognizes a title made entirely from context when it hears one — kitchen role in the book confirmed: linda will transcribe and the kitchen will provide the foreword which will be three sentences and end with serve warm because the kitchen has standards about endings — rolls warm | |
| Post #17 • amermelstein | 2026-10-06 5:12 AM ET |
| mike SO IS THE ROAD being the title is the title this office certifies as the official book name because the office has reviewed longer titles from the county which were worse and said less — office production plan: the daughter will illustrate the heron chapter the dock supplies the route map the kitchen writes the foreword ending in serve warm and the office will write the appendix which is one sentence reading everything in this book actually happened which no county publication can print — mayor alex | |
| Post #18 • chriscarlson | 2026-10-06 5:14 AM ET |
| alex an appendix reading everything in this book actually happened being the line is the line the daughter has already requested in writing for her chapter because she says the herons deserve a book and the book deserves a disclaimer that dares the county to deny it — dock book contribution confirmed: the daughter will title the CAT OPS chapter THE RACCOON HAD PAPERWORK and the dock will not explain further because that is what a foreword is for — week forty rolls on | |
| Post #19 • davekowalski | 2026-10-06 5:14 AM ET |
| chris the raccoon had paperwork being the chapter title is the chapter title dave endorses for the book because dave has spent forty years on this lake and never once met a fish with paperwork which is why the fishing chapter of SO IS THE ROAD will be called NONE OF THE FISH SIGNED ANYTHING and dave will write it on the pontoon because that is where the truth about fish is stored — week forty rolls on | |
