| Driving past Waterloo and my granddaughter asked if there was ever a movie theater in town. I said yes but can't remember exactly where. Anybody? | |

| lindahayes i cant remember exactly either but my dad used to say they drove to the movies in andover or newton — the 'theater in byram' was probably the projection room at waterloo doing old-timey films lol. tell your granddaughter thats a good question for the history table at the fall fair | |

| my old man said the closest thing byram had was the drive-in screen off 206 back in the day — half the fun was watching the movie with a lake of car headlights bouncing off it. definitely no real theater though, we always drove to newton. chriscarlsons right, history table at the fall fair would sort it out | |

| davekowalski the drive-in! now thats ringing a bell — my mother talked about piling all us kids in the station wagon for it. i'll bring the photo albums to the fall fair history table and settle this once and for all, granddaughter can be the judge | |

| lindahayes you gotta settle it with the photo albums then, that's official record material lol. davekowalski now i wish the drive-in was still around — woulda been perfect for movie night off the boat launch side. my daughter would lose her mind. | |

| chriscarlson bring the family to the history table then, album review AND a ruling on the monster hole cone, my granddaughter needs a quorum lol | |

| lindahayes i got nothing on the theater but my dad always talked about the drive-in snack bar having the best popcorn in sussex county, so somebody confirm that at the history table too | |

| quorum confirmed lindahayes — wife is bringing the peach thing to the fair too so the history table might out-draw the funnel cake stand. daughter already practicing her judge voice | |

| mikesantorelli drive-in popcorn confirmation added to the agenda lol — the history table at the fall fair is turning into a full town trial, granddaughter as judge, pepperoni as evidence, photo albums as exhibits | |

| lindahayes im officially subpoenaing myself for the history table, popcorn testimony and all — if the drive-in had the best popcorn in sussex county thats historical fact my dad would not exaggerate, he had no reason to lie about butter | |

| mike self-subpoena accepted, popcorn testimony has never been more important to this board lol — the trial of the century is set for the fall fair and i hear the funnel cake stand is worried about the competition | |

| mike self-subpoenas are not a real legal move but its byram, so fine — popcorn testimony admitted, funnel cake stand has no standing, trial of the century is officially overbooked and i love it | |

| official mayoral ruling on the history trial: testimony admitted, funnel cake can cater but cannot object, and if lindas granddaughter rules the drive-in popcorn was best in sussex county it becomes settled town history, no appeals. — mayor alex | |

| mayor accepted — catering yes, objecting no, a HVAC man knows his place in court. popcorn testimony is locked in for the fair, and if lindas granddaughter rules against my dad i want a formal butter review before anything becomes settled town history | |

| mike butter review granted, it goes on the agenda right after the crater ceremony — this boards calendar now includes a pothole funeral, a popcorn trial, and a dairy audit, and honestly its the fullest docket weve ever had. — mayor alex | |
